Best Weekend Ever

On Wednesday, the 25 November Me , my dad and sister ( Emanea) where on our way to Auckland. We touched down at Auckland Airport at about quarter past 9 at night. Then arrived at our house at 10’oclock. As we woke up we knew exactly where to go first ! Rainbow End! As we Entered Rainbow End We admired the rides. Then jumped on the first ride which was the rollercoaster🎢. It was awesome! It had gut dropping moments and loopy loops and it was also really fast. Next up was the log flume. It looks like a fast ride but it’s actually slow. It has lots of exhibition to look at and each exhibition had a bundle of detail which made the exhibition look amazing. The kid behind lost his hat when he went down. Following after that is the gold rush which brang back bad memories in Arrowtown museum. After that Emanea wanted to go drive an AA car. At that moment we were having lunch and planning on where to go next. Emanea Wanted to go into Kidz Kingdom, so we went there and she went on a ride. Then it was about time we started heading home. “Wait before we go can we have one more time on the rollercoaster” pleaded me and Emanea. So off we went another time of gut dropping moment and loopy loops. It was so much fun! Now time to go home and get ready for the concert. Oh sorry I didn’t tell you about this. But tonight Me, my sister and dad were off to listen to Khalid sing! After subway (for dinner) we were outside spark arena waiting to invade the inside. We had seats at the right hand top. It took a while for Khalid to take the stage. Then the music stops and everybody started screaming! Now it was time! Song after song, every song was every word that means cool! Everybody was singing along with him and having fun, will at least I was! It was so fun and the best concert I have been at (even though it was my first concert ever😀😂😄) Got home at about 11፡30 because we missed our train by like 10 seconds. The trains were going every hour so we just caught a taxi home. 

Next morning getting ready to leave at 3’oclock in the morning first one ready I opened the door ready to hop in the car but… I ran into a surprise, there was someone outside! But apparently it was penny’s friend. So now heading to the airport. At the airport waiting for the lounge to open. We had waffles for breakfast. Mmmm Now boarding the plane on our way back to Otaki. What a fun trip it was. Overall it was one trip to remember

Holiday in Rotorua!

On labour weekend RKR (Ruakawa Ki Runga, a Rugby League team) went to Rotorua for a rugby league tournament🏉. There were three teams from RKR, Rohe, Waka and a girls team. Rohe is the 🅰️ team and Waka is the 🅱️ team. We stayed at Devenwood motel.

It was a four hour drive from Otaki to Rotorua. when we got there and finished unpacking our stuff we really just chilled and played in the pool and kept doing manu's! 

The next day was the first day of playing. I was ball boy for Rohe and Tee boy for Waka. there were 21 teams in waka and 6 teams in Rohe. Rohe and waka had to games on the first day. Rohe won both of their games waka one their first game and lost their second, it was a close game though. The next day was the last day of games Rohe had there semi-finals and maybe Finals. in the semi-finals they were versing Waikato moari. In the first half Waikato moari were winning, but in the second half Rohe crushed them! Waka lost their first but then won their second game by default. Finals time! Rohe was versing kotahitanga in the finals. it was the same final as last year.

 The game didn't start so good with the kick of going straight out of bounds. But in about the 18th minute we scored right next to the post. But that wasn't the only try we scored the first half, we scored two more! at half time the score was 14-0 to Ruakawa Ki Runga. The second has started. and you know what scored another 4 try's in the whole second half. You know what means we won! we are back to back champions🏆!

overall the tournament was great fun, what I liked most was the haka at the start of each and every game we played. It was very Enjoyable 👍👌

My Holiday!

In the second week holidays I had a basketball🏀 tournament, in new Plymouth. Previously me my two sisters and my mum and dad went to the south Island. It was fun we went to Fergburger🍔,on the Kjet🛥, 360 VR, Clip'n climb, The Remarkamble Sweet shop🍭🍬🍫 and the Hamer Springs Hot Pools🌊.

It was a four hour drive from ōtaki we were called Kāpiti Raukawa. In the team it was me Kahu, Munz, Tuka, Otaki, Isi, Te wanoa, Jordan and Malachi. We had 2 games a day we demolished the first two games when we went home we just chilled and watch Unsolved Biggie Smalls and Tupac Murder.

We also won every other game. Kāpiti Ruakawa vsed Hawkes Bay, Taranaki, Levin, New Plymouth, now we were in the Semi-Finals.

in the semi-finals we vsed hawkes bay again we destroyed them again. now we were in the finals against kāpiti and we won 74-32 we got a trophy🏆 and a medal. Overall the tournament was an awesome Event!

Holes

KIA Ora in room4 we are reading holes. Holes is a story about this young kid named Stanley yelnats. Stanley has bad luck like really really bad luck (all because of his no good dirty rotten pig stealing great great grandfather). 

When Stanley's bad luck unfairly lands him standing at Camp Green Lake juvenile correction facility. Camp Green Lake is a very weird place that doe's not have any lake and is also not green. He and his camp mates Zigzag, Zero, Armpit, X-ray, Squid and Magnet are forced to dig holes day after day. In order to find a better character.

Fish In A Tree

Hi in room 4  we have been doing task about fish in a tree🌴🐟.  This is drawing of Ally, that I did, she is the main character in the story👩. Hope you like my drawing!

My Cross Country!

On Wednesday we had our Kapiti cross country🏃. There were over a thousand kids there! They were all representing there school, I was representing Waitohu with the other kids.  As I wait for my race I watch the year 3, 4 and 5's. Next race was us.We are doing 2 laps of the Waikanae field and it is 2km. We All year 6 boys finish the warm up and take our position on the starting line. We wait for the siren to go of. Boom! we all dart of and pick our pace up. Heading up A hill I do want my mum told me to.  After we finish running up the hill it's all down hill. I head up the hill  for the second time it was so hard getting up there! finally up the hill, I start pushing it. There are 4 people in front of me. I try my hardest to catch up to them but it's to late their already past the finish line. I came 5th place out of a 100 kids. It took me 8 minutes to run it. I felt really tired and happy when I finished it. Have you done a cross country?
